Dublin Bus says it hopes to increase the frequency of some of it's 24-hour services and add more routes.
Chief executive Ray Coyne agrees a wider 24/7 bus service would help make Dublin city more attractive and active at night.
He says on top of Nightlinks, there are currently six all day services available;
"Probably the most successful one at present would be route 15, we're looking to see if we can increase the frequency in those services."
Ray Coyne says more 24/7 routes are on the cards;
"With the NTA and with government support we'd hope to see that rolled out throughout the network to give a good even spread so everybody will have continued access to public transportation 24 hours."
Yesterday Dublin Bus unveiled a special fleet of e-bikes to allow employees travel between the eight depots, which it's one thousand buses.
The pilot project will be in place for a year and is part of a wider range of projects Dublin Bus is trying out to support sustainable transport.
