Passengers on Dublin Bus could be affected by industrial action on their commute this morning.
Around 190 engineer operatives, who clean and service the buses at night, are engaging in a work to rule. The action began on Sunday as part of a long running row over pay.
It means there have been some delays to buses leaving their depots each morning this week.
John Murphy from SIPTU says they will meet with management tomorrow;
"We try and resolve things before they get to this stage. It's only the very few that go into disputes. It's regrettable, we don't want to be here but we have been trying for the last two plus years to resolve this."
He says they're hopeful the dispute can be resolved but warned the industrial action could escalate to strikes if that doesn't happen.
