Dublin Bus Wrapped In The Flags Of 72 Countries For Diversity

A Dublin Bus has been wrapped in the flags of 72 countries to celebrate Global Diversity Awareness Month.

The flags represent the number of countries Dublin Bus employees come from.

The company says it wants to acknowledge its diverse workforce and the extra efforts they have put in this year.

More than 3,500 people of multiple ethnicities, ages and abilities work for Dublin Bus.

Speaking about the company culture of diversity and inclusion Dublin Bus Employee Sydney Mthi said:

“Today’s society is very diverse. Dublin Bus serves the community and it is very important to reflect that community."

"Dublin Bus management is very strong at educating employees about inclusion in the workplace, making employees aware of and celebrating different and diverse backgrounds."

Vivienne Kavanagh, Dublin Bus Employee Development & Equality Executive said:

“As a company we are committed to promoting equality, accommodating diversity, and ensuring non-discrimination for both our employees and our customers."
