Dublin has been ranked among the top 50 cities globally for quality of life.
The Mercer index had the capital in 43rd spot, down one place on last year for people working abroad for companies.
The data assesses the practicalities of daily life for international assignees and their families in assignment locations worldwide. It looks at the likes of housing, traffic, travel, air quality and access to education.
Zurich in Switzerland took the top spot for its public services, low crime rates and lively cultural scene.
Dublin was higher than cities including LA, New York, Madrid and Edinburgh but below Berlin, Paris and London.
