The DSPCA is appealing for the owners of a 7-kilo pet rabbit found stray in Dublin to get in touch.
The rare Flemish rabbit was found in Mulhuddart last week and is described as being the size of a small dog.
This Giant Flemish rabbit was found as a stray last Thursday. She’s being very good & was happy for the vets to examine her. No owner has come forward for her yet. She’s a beauty #rabbit #found #animalrescue pic.twitter.com/IfXnCbXiZn

The DSPCA has called her Maeve and says she is in good health and eating well.
She's not microchipped, and is believed to be around two years old.
Queen Meave is settling in really well. She is eating & drinking and enjoying her new surroundings 🐰 #giantflemish #rabbit #animalrescue #dspca https://t.co/ngkD16nKab pic.twitter.com/g0ZB709naE
