More than €1m worth of drugs have been seized at Dublin Port.
Revenue officers seized 55kgs of herbal cannabis and 2kgs of cannabis infused 'jelly sweets' yesterday.
The drugs have a combined estimated value of €1.2 million.
They were discovered with the assistance of detector dog James and Revenue's mobile X-ray scanner, concealed in suitcases that were stored in the driver's cab of a commercial vehicle, that arrived on a ferry from Holyhead.
A man in his 50s was arrested and investigations are ongoing.
