Gardai have seized 7 kilos of cannabis herb after they searched a car on the north side.
Members of the Crime Resource Unit at Mountjoy station found the drugs when they examined the vehicle at about 5 o'clock Monday afternoon at Belvedere Avenue in the city.
The drugs have an estimated street value of 140 thousand euro.
The car's been seized and is undergoing a technical examination.
There've been no arrests.
