Two people remain in Garda custody after a seizure of cannabis in Dublin last night.
Gardai from the traffic unit in Blanchardstown stopped a car on the N7 during a routine checkpoint.
They discovered cannabis herb worth an estimated 40 thousand euro in the vehicle.
The man and woman were arrested at the scene and taken to Ballyfermot Garda station.
Meanwhile, a file is to be sent to the DPP after cigarettes and tobacco were seized in Cork.
The contraband was found when Garda stopped a UK registered car on the M8 in Mitchelstown.
A non-Irish national male in his forties was questioned by Revenue officers and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
