People in Balbriggan will be able to get deliveries to their door via a drone within the next month.
Manna is behind the trial, with the aircrafts initially flying five days a week. A number of cafes, shops and supermarkets have already signed up.
It follows a year long trial in Oranmore in Galway.
Bobby Healy, CEO of Manna Drone Delivery, says coffees are their most popular order; "We can carry just over two kilos and about 15,000 cubic centimeters, so think meal for two or three people in a household, takeaway food."
He hopes to have their drones operating across Ireland within the next two years. The chief executive says their aim is to replace all road deliveries with drones.

Between twenty to twenty five staff will be based in Balbriggan operating the drone deliveries. People can order products through an app and then track the aircraft, before the delivery is dropped off.
The company is expected to begin offering deliveries in the seaside town within the next two to three weeks.
Bobby Healy says a coffee can be delivered within six minutes from the moment someone hits the order button.
