A major Garda crackdown on drink driving and other motoring offences has netted one arrest in the capital.
Betwen Saturday night and Sunday morning, officers launched four Super Mandatory Alcohol Testing checkpoints at separate locations.
They were in Drumcondra, on the Naas Road, Ringsend Road and Conyngham Road
Nearly 900 vehicles passed through, over 300 drivers were breath-tested, one was arrested and ten people were caught for general motoring offences.
