Donaghmede in Dublin has the highest rate of Covid-19 of any local electoral area in the country.
The 14-day incidence rate for the northside suburb stands at 2,185 per 100,000 of the population.
Five of the county's local electoral areas are among the state's ten worst affected. Rush-Lusk, Swords, Ongar and Blanchardstown-Mulhuddard all feature.
Meanwhile NPHET's recommending new restrictions on household visits and indoor hospitality to tackle the spread of Covid-19.
It's understood to be proposing one household only be allowed gather with three others until mid-February.
Opening hour limits and rules around table sittings and multiple bookings at pubs and restaurants are also proposed.
