The annual clean-up of the river Dodder in Dublin takes place today.
Hundreds of volunteers will gather this morning for Dodder Day, a community initiative set up to clean the river that runs through many of Dublin's southside suburbs.
The event aims to combat the growing illegal dumping problem over the entire length of the river from Oldbawn in Tallaght to Ringsend.
