Over €140,000 worth of drugs have been seized in Dublin.
As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí searched a residential property at Foxdene Gardens in Clondalkin at around 7pm last night.
During the course of the search, approximately €140,000 worth of diamorphine, a type of opioid, was seized. Crack cocaine worth €1,000 was also discovered.
A man in his 30s was arrested and is currently being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act (Drug Trafficking) 1996 at Ronanstown Garda station.
He can be detained for up to seven days. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
