A man and a woman have been arrested after the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin was defaced this afternoon in a climate change protest.
Paint was thrown on the building and slogans were spray painted on the walls as part of a campaign by Extinction Rebellion.
Footage of the incident was live streamed on Facebook.
Gardai say they have arrested a man in his 20s and a woman in her late teens for an act of criminal damage on St. Stephens Green.
They are being detained at Kevin Street garda station.
