Hospital cases down to 940, with 83 in intensive care units and fewer patients on oxygen support prompted the head of the HSE to tweet that the publics efforts have resulted in an easing of the worst impacts of the virus.
With GP referrals and overall cases down, Reid said that this particular pattern gives ''Great Hope''.
Monaghan based GP Dr. Illona Duffy says Doctors are noticing the drop in cases '' the number of calls and those presenting with Covid-like symptoms seem to be dropping''.
