A building which houses a specialised early years service for children in Dublin has been shut after a truck was rammed into the front of it.
Deansrath Health Centre in Clondalkin is home to a range of services, including a specialised pre-school, loss and bereavement counselling and a safe space for separated families.
Many of the 50 children who attend services there have physical or intellectual disabilities.
Just one staff member was in the building when a stolen truck was repeatedly driven into its front doors early on Monday morning.
The Director of the service, Siobhan Feehan, told 98FM's Dublin Talks there is "no sense to it".
"It's a family centre with toys and a kitchen and that's what it is".
Deansrath Family Centre in Clondalkin in Dublin has been declared structurally unsound after the ramming.
Staff at the centre say they can't think of any reason why someone would attack the building.
Gardai say they are continuing to investigate what they have called "significant damage".
