Concerns have been raised about the proposed revamp of St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre in Dublin.
A major 100 million euro redevelopment of the centre was revealed in January.
These plans by DTDL Ltd are designed to give St Stephens' Green shopping centre a major facelift - with consultants saying the existing centre is outdated and underperforming.
There are plans for over 21,000 extra square footage in floor space, which would include a reconfigured mall opening onto Stephen's Green.
There are also proposals to add two storeys to the existing six storey building.
However Dublin City Council has outlined serious concerns about the height, scale and mass of the plans according to the Irish Times.
It's also worried - that the proposed demolition and alterations don't address the significance of the building.
It wants the plans to be revised - saying the Centre plays a key role in affirming the city centre as the premier shopping area in the country.
