A man's been taken away by Gardai after threatening to jump from a roof in the City Centre.
He had to be talked down by trained negotiators and a woman, who'd been stabbed.
The dramatic scenes have been unfolding at a hostel near Store Street Garda Station.
Gardai and Dublin Fire Brigade spent much of the afternoon at the scene, which was sealed off to the public.
The stand-off had caused DART services to be suspended for about an hour.
