Traffic in the city centre is facing disruption between now and 9 o'clock as a cycling group stages a 'slow cycle' protest.
IBike Dublin says it's holding the event in soldarity with Extinction Rebellion protests in Europe.
The protest started at Grand Canal Bridge and will travel along Pearse Street to Merrion Square.
If the government keep blocking climate action, we'll keep blocking traffic. In 1 hour, at 8.00am, we'll be gathering at Pearse St Bridge/Grand Canal Square with a simple message:

Ciarán Ferrie, from IBike, says they are highlighting the dominance of cars.
"We don't believe that there should be that many private cars in the city centre, its causing congestion, its disrupting people who are trying to use public transport"
