Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a serious crash in Dublin 4 left a cyclist in a critical condition in hospital.
The road traffic collision, involving a lorry, happened on the South Bank Road at the junction with the Whitebank Road at around 4 pm yesterday afternoon.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he is currently in a critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
The scene was preserved and Forensic Collision Investigators conducted an examination. The road has since reopened.
Any road users who may have camera footage who were travelling on the South Bank Road or the Whitebank Road between 3.30 pm and 4 pm are asked to contact Gardaí.
