AA roadwatch says it's been cleared after it happened southbound between Junction 6 Blanchardstown and Junction 5 Finglas.
Gardai say 4 cars were involved and no-one's been seriously injured.
However, heavy traffic remains on approach back to the M1/M50 Interchange.
