There have been another 9,881 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Ireland today.
That breaks down as 5,268 PCR-confirmed cases and 4,613 positive antigen test results registered via the HSE portal.
108 COVID-related deaths have also been reported in the past week.
Today’s COVID-19 figures bring the five-day moving average of new cases to 8,334.
Meanwhile, the number of patients in hospital with COVID-19 has fallen slightly over the past 24 hours.
There are 631 patients with the virus in hospital, compared to 637 yesterday.
That includes 62 patients in ICU - down one from yesterday.
