The Special Criminal Court has heard conversations between Jonathon Dowdall and Gerry Hutch that were secretly recorded in the wake of the Regency Hotel shooting.
The pair were travelling to Northern Ireland in February 2016, unaware the jeep they were in contained a recording device.
Mr. Hutch denies murdering David Byrne, who was shot dead when gunmen stormed a boxing event in 2016.
This conversation between Jonathon Dowdall and Gerry Hutch took place two days after the Regency Hotel shooting where David Byrne was murdered.
In the tape, the pair criticise the media’s coverage of the incident.
Mr Dowdall said the papers “don’t have a clue” and Mr Hutch added the guards don’t know 4 of the 6 people involved in the shooting and that it’s all speculation.
Gerry Hutch also says Daniel Kinahan looks like he’s “in a heap” but added he can see why, saying he should look in an awful way after escaping an AK47 attack “by the skin of his teeth”.
Jonathan Dowdall also gives extensive details on the components of a bomb and the pair discuss what would happen if it was placed under a car or in a building.
Days after The Regency Shooting, Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch criticised the Garda investigation, saying "cops are going around like headless chickens".
Discussing a ceasefire with the Kinahans, Jonathan Dowdall described their rivals as a big army.
Mr. Hutch said those responsible for killing his brother a month earlier "have to go" but added "the shooting has to stop".
