Two men have been charged in connection with a high-speed chase on the M50 motorway earlier this week.
It began after a string of burglaries in Blackrock on Thursday night.
Following the burglaries, a garda patrol noticed a car acting suspiciously in the Tallaght area.
Gardaí chased the vehicle onto the M50 and was joined by the garda helipcopter in pursuit of the car.
A number of men who were traveling in the car jumped out on the M1 near Dundalk and ran into a field.
Three men were eventually arrested.
Items that had been reported stolen from one of the earlier burglaries were found thrown along the M50.
One teenager has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Juvenile Liaison Office.
The two men who have been charged in connection with the incident are aged in their 20's.
They are due to appear at Dun Laoghaire District Court on Monday morning.
