Dublin motorists are being warned to expect traffic disruption around the Convention Centre later this week.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and a number of heads of state are in town on Thursday and Friday to attend the European Peoples Party Conference.
Local access is being maintained for businesses and residents in the area.
But Superintendent Sean Ward from Store Street Garda Station says a number of roads will be closed on Thursday evening until Friday afternoon.
