Scientists have reported the coldest ever temperature recorded on Earth, in East Antarctica.
Newly analysed data from NASA satellites shows the temperature plunged to minus 94.7 degrees Celcius in August 2010, and it came close again in July this year, when it hit minus 92.9 degrees.
Both beat the previous record of minus 89.2 degrees Celcius.
