Two people have been arrested after drugs worth €740,000 were seized at Dublin Airport yesterday.
8.5 kilos of cocaine, and two litres of liquid cocaine, were found in the baggage of two passengers who had disembarked a flight from Lisbon in Portugal shortly before 9pm.
A woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s were arrested and taken to Ballymun Garda Station where they can be held for up to a week under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
