A father of 16 caught trying to smuggle cocaine in through Dublin Airport back in May has been jailed for three years.
It took Ottley Charles two and a half hours to swallow over 70 pellets containing €59,000 worth of the drug before boarding a flight from Brazil.
The 57-year-old told Gardai he agreed to be a drug mule to help him pay off a €10,000 debt after a business deal went wrong.
