Clontarf baths in north Dublin have opened to the public for the first time.
The outdoor pool that was refurbished in 2018, originally began operating in 1886. The attraction was controversially only available to members of local swimming clubs when it reopened.
Using cleaned, filtered and lightly chlorinated sea water, the baths are 40 metres wide and have five swimming lanes.
Great to see public sessions in Clontarf baths for whole of this August. Starting this Tuesday 10am to 12noon. 2 hour sessions booking needed in advance.
