South Dublin County Council says it's contacted Gardaí after a playground in Clondalkin was set alight.
Officials posted on Facebook that they're devastated after the Corkagh Park amenity was targeted this week. They say they will work to get it fixed as soon as possible.
Considerable damage was caused to the playground following the incident.
Reps are asking anyone with information to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 6667600.
They have also asked thanked Dublin Fire Brigade for putting out the fire.
