There are calls for a city council flat complex near St Stephen's Green to be pulled down.
Councillor Mannix Flynn says Glovers Court on York Street needs urgent redevelopment. He says the buildings are putting the health of residents at risk through chronic mold and damp problems.
The complex consists of 38 apartments, across two blocks, that were built in 1976.
The Independent rep is to raise the problems at the flats at the South East Area Committee meeting this afternoon;
"I've spoken to the tenants in there and they are sick and tired of it and they want a better place to live and they want a better future for their children. They're children are suffering chronic chest infections from the damp and the mold that's in there. The place is leaking, the place is very dilapidated."
