Christmas arrived early to St Stephen's Green in Dublin this morning with the launch of the city's first ever traditional Christmas market.
The Dublin City Business Improvement District says the initiative will attract an additional 600,000 people to the city and generate up to 20 million euro for businesses in the capital.
It will run from the 13th of November to the 23rd of December and will see more than 60 traditional wooden chalets line the exterior of St Stephen’s Green Park between Grafton Street and Merrion Row.
150 seasonal jobs will also be created.
