Gardaí have been carrying out checkpoints as part of an investigation into a shooting at a housing estate in Kilbarrack just over a week ago.
A man in his 30s was injured after being hit in the arms and legs at St Berach's Place on Sunday January 12th. It happened at around 9.30pm.
His injuries were described as non-life threatening at the time.
Last night, officers were stopping cars on Swans Nest Avenue as part of efforts to identify witnesses.

Anyone who was in the area between 9pm and 10pm that night is being asked to get in touch, particularly those with dashcam footage.
