A car used in a fatal gangland shooting yesterday afternoon in Dublin is believed to have been stolen.

The Nissan Qashqai was found burnt out on a nearby road.

39-year-old Christopher Zambra, a well-known gangland criminal, was gunned down as he sat in his car outside his sister's house in Drimnagh just before 3pm.

A post mortem is due to get underway later today.

Crime Reporter with Irish Mirror Cathal McMahon says this isn't going to be an easy investigation.
