Gardai are questioning a man after a driving rampage through the city centre this morning.
Officers at Pearse Street are investigating the incident which started at around 6:30am when a car drove onto the grounds of Trinity College.
A number of cars were damaged and on leaving the campus, the closed college gates were rammed.
The car proceeded through the gates and up Dawson Street, damaging a number of other cars.
The vehicle was stopped by Gardai on Dawson Street and a 68 year old man was arrested and taken to Store Street garda station.
