A man and woman have been arrested following a car chase in Dublin.
Damage was caused to a garda patrol car during the operation.
At around 4pm yesterday a car failed to stop for gardaí who were investigating a robbery at a pharmacy in Dundrum.
The car then fled in the direction of the M50 and travelled northbound on the motorway before being stopped at Balbutcher Lane in Ballymun a short time later.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s, were arrested and two young children were discovered in the car and taken to safety.
No one was injured and around €300 worth of cosmetic products were recovered from the vehicle.
