Cannabis believed to be worth €1.5m has been seized in West Dublin.
The drugs were found when organised crime officers stopped a vehicle this afternoon.
A 66-year-old man arrested at the scene is being held at Lucan Garda Station.
Gardai said the arrest was made "as part of an intelligence led operation, targeting organised criminality in the Dublin area".
Members of The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau were involved in the operation.
The arrested man is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
