There are calls for 24/7 bus lanes in Dublin, particularly around Croke Park.
Green Party councillor Janet Horner says buses were brought to a standstill in Drumcondra over the weekend during traffic jams caused by GAA matches at the stadium.
She says it's a particular problem in the area and that restrictions on using the lanes should be round-the-clock in order to allow free-flowing public transport.
Can we please have enforced bus lanes in Drumcondra on match days? 🙏

While some bus lanes are in operation 24 hours a day, most are enforced between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
Councillor Horner says the rules are regularly ignored and cameras should be used to tackle the problem;
"The fines are there, it's the enforcement is effectively zero in the city at the moment."
