A Dublin man accused of stabbing his friend through the heart has told his murder trial that he saw another man do it.

Alan Harte from East Wall, but with a former address at Clareville Grove in Glasnevin, denies killing father of two Peter Gunn on January 4th 2009 in Cabra Park, Cabra.

Peter Gunn's body was found in a water filled ditch near Dublin airport 11 days after he was allegedly stabbed in the heart by Alan Harte.

The 33 year old denies killing his friend at a flat in Cabra after a day drinking in different pubs.

He claims another man called Kastriot Boza stabbed Peter Gunn who had slagged him earlier in the night about being nicked as a sex offender.

Kastriot Boza testified last week that he saw the accused stab Peter Gunn in the chest shortly after hearing them exchange words about Alan Harte’s uncle.
