A brother and sister are due to stand trial next October for allegedly murdering an elderly man in Dublin.
Thomas Horan was strangled to death at his home in Ringsend in January.
On Jan 6th, 63-year-old Thomas Horan was found dead inside his flat at Cambridge Court in Ringsend.
A murder inquiry was launched two days later after a post-mortem revealed he'd been beaten and strangled.
Shortly afterwards, Kenneth and Sabrina Cummins, who both lived at nearby Ringsend Park, were arrested.
The brother and sister were questioned for two days before being charged with Mr. Horan's murder.
Their case came before Mr. Justice Paul Carney this morning and a date in October was set for their trial.
Both have been remanded in custody until then.
