A brother and sister have appeared in court charged with the murder of Thomas Horan at his home in Irishtown.
The 63 year old victim was found dead at his sheltered accommodation flat in the early hours of Monday morning.
Today 27 year old Ken Cummins and his sister 36 year old Sabrina Cummins of Ringsend Park appeared in court charged with his murder.
The court heard they were arrested in Dublin on Wednesday and charged at Irishtown and Donnybrook Garda Stations yesterday.
Neither gave a reply to the charge after caution.
Judge Michael Walsh has remanded them in custody to appear in court again next Thursday .
Following requests from their solicitors he has directed that the two accused receive medical attention while they are held in prison.
