B&Q is now offering home delivery and click and collect services in Ireland, creating 19 new jobs.
The service will operate out of it's brand new 'Digital Hub' in it's Liffey Valley store in West Dublin.
The 19 jobs will add to its existing 550 person workforce and include positions for drivers and warehouse staff.
Click and collect and delivery services have been part of B&Q's offering in the UK since May 2020.
B&Q Divisional Director John Eason says it's a major milestone for the business.
"We expect home delivery and Click + Collect to be in big demand for both our existing and for new customers. This project has been two years in planning and the shift in consumer behaviour that was so evident during the pandemic clearly supports the rationale for a revised retail model of ‘bricks and clicks’ for Ireland"
