There's been a bomb scare in Ballymun.
The Army Bomb Disposal Unit deployed a team to dismantle a dodgy device discovered outside a house in Belclare at about 1:30am this morning.
The device was found by a local resident near a vehicle parked outside a private home.
Some local residents were evacuated and the bomb squad had to carry out a controlled explosion.
The scene was declared safe at 3.30am and the remains of the device have been handed over to the Gardaí for investigation.
