A man's body has been found in North County Dublin.
Gardai discovered the body of a Polish man, believed to be aged in his 50s, in the bedroom of a home in the Ballastown area of Lusk at around 5pm on Wednesday.
His body was brought to Dublin City Morgue in Whitehall, where a post-mortem was carried out yesterday.
The results aren't being released for operational reasons and his death is being described as unexplained.
Investigation
Gardaí have set up an incident room at Balbriggan Garda station. The scene continues to be preserved and examinations are ongoing by the Garda Technical Bureau and Divisional Scenes of Crime personnel.
CCTV enquiries are ongoing and a number of witness statements have already been taken.
The last known movements of the deceased are on the evening of Monday 1st March 2021.
A family liaison officer has been appointed to establish contact and liaise with the family of the deceased male. Gardai are looking to speak with any person with any information in relation to this ongoing investigation.

Gardai at Balbriggan Garda Station are appealing for motorists with dashcam footage who were in or around the area of Ballastown, Lusk, Co. Dublin between Monday 1st March and 5pm Wednesday 3rd March 2021.
Of particular interest to Gardai is the sighting of a male pedestrian on the Skerries Road, Commons Lane or Hill Lane, Lusk between the hours of 6pm and 8pm on the 1st March 2021. This man was wearing navy blue track suit bottoms and a black zip up bomber jacket and was carrying a distinctive ‘Lidl Deluxe’ shopping bag which is black with white writing.
