The body of a man has been found by police searching for a Galway teenager who went missing on a night out in the West End of London.
It's believed to be 18-year-old Patrick Halpin, a DCU student, who was last seen on Tuesday night, leaving a club in Leicester Square.
He was on the trip with the college's Drama Society.
The alarm was raised when it was discovered on Wednesday morning that he hadn't returned to the hostel where the group had been staying.
A search was mounted and Patrick's sister Regina launched a social media campaign to try and find him.
Then at around ten to eight last night, Metropolitan police found a body in an enclosed area in the vicinity of Burger King and the Zoo Bar off Leicester Square.
It's believed to be 18 year old Patrick Halpin - but police have yet to formally identify the body.
Police say they're not treating the death as suspicious.
