Bleeperbike is withdrawing from Dun Laoghaire.
The stationless bike operator has been running in Dun Laoghaire on a pilot basis for the last two years.
The company, which allows people to find and unlock bikes through an app, was awarded a permanent license to run the rental scheme just last month.
However according to the Irish Times, bleeperbike has decided to withdraw its service from the area. It said it had decided not to take up the contract and that bikes will be removed on Friday.
The scheme, which allows users to return bikes to designated parking locations, began running in the city centre last year.
