A new phone scam is doing the rounds and it appears to come from a Dublin number.
The scam claims to be from Revenue, offering tax refunds to members of the public.
Phone owners have received a missed call from an 01 number, followed by a voicemail asking them to call back urgently.
Once the number is called back, a request for card details for a tax return is made.
Phonenumbers.ie has received over 30 comments on the number over the last 2 days, with the majority reporting it as an unsafe/nuisance call.
