Dublin Firefighters Deal With 2 Call Outs

Firefighters had to deal with 2 separate call outs in Dublin overnight.

Thirty people had to be evacuated from their homes in Baldoyle while 4 people were hospitalised after a fire in Clondalkin.

The first incident took place at around 2am when a blaze broke out at a house in Monksfield Grove in Clondalkin.

3 units of the fire brigade attended the scene and 4 adults were rescued and taken to Tallaght hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

Meanwhile in Baldoyle, 30 people had to be evacuated from 8 houses at St Domhnachs Well estate when a gas main bust and caught fire.

It happened at around 4am and fire crews attending the scene made the area safe.

There were no injuries and the all clear was given just after 6am.
