A baby boy from Kyiv who needs neonatal care has been transferred to Crumlin Children's Hospital.
The Irish Air Corps provided the transport for the baby, his mother, and four siblings from Lublin in Poland to Baldonnel.
The family arrived last night, with a HSE neo natal nurse on board and the baby is now receiving medical attention in Crumlin Hospital.

The Defence Forces says: "Late last night, 101Sqn completed a successful Neonatal air ambulance flight from Lublin in eastern Poland to Baldonnel before onward transfer to Crumlin children's hospital.

"Members of the HSE’s Neonatal Transport Team were onboard to prepare for and provided medical care to the infant patient during the flight. This medical journey began in a maternity hospital in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev before being positioned by road to Lublin Airport, approximately 95km from the Ukrainian border.
"The crew were also delighted to transfer the infants mother and his four young siblings to Ireland where ongoing medical treatment and support services will be provided to the family."
