A Tallaght woman charged with assisting in the suicide of an MS sufferer is to go on trial in April of next year.
Gail O'Rourke from Kilclare Gardens is the first person in the State to be prosecuted for this offence.
The 42 year old is charged with aiding, abetting, counseling or procuring the suicide of Bernadette Forde between March 10th and June 6th 2011.
Judge Mary Ellen Ring has set a date of the 13th of April for the trial - which is expected to last for two to three weeks.
